Our website provides an insight into the full scope of our business activities, from the operation of our open pit mine to our exciting future as one of the biggest underground mining operations in Australia.

As Managing Director of the Argyle Diamond Mine I have a responsibility to run a safe and profitable business which delivers value to all of the organisation's stakeholders. But I am also aware of Argyle's longer-term potential - to make a real and lasting difference to the people of the East Kimberley region. This is a goal to which I and the team at Argyle are passionately committed.

This web site therefore describes the deep respect Argyle has for the Traditional Owners of the land on which we mine, and the measures we are taking to ensure that their culture is honoured and that their social and economic prospects are improved.

It also describes the partnerships we are establishing, as a major player in the region, to help build a more robust economy that can deliver long-term social and financial benefits to local communities.

It describes the commitment we have to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment, and to improving the safety and wellbeing of our workforce.
